    Hello!

When trying to do something simple like uploading small images to some existing webpages and trying to save it all when I'm done, I get this error

    « MODx Parse Error »
MODx encountered the following error while attempting to parse the requested resource:

« Execution of a query to the database failed - Got a packet bigger than 'max_allowed_packet' bytes »

    SQL: UPDATE `modx`.`modx_site_content` SET introtext='', content='

    and my work doesn't save.

I've worked on my webpages a hundred times, editing the same stuff, and I've never had a problem before. Now suddenly I get this error...

Sorry but I'm very new to this. If someone can walk me through, step by step, on how to fix this it would be greatly appreciated!

    Thanks in advance!!!!

are you uploading large images? + 2mb? try small images.

I think you have to change some server settings, maybe someone else can help you or your host.
Evolution user, I like the back-end speed and simplicity smiley
