hi i’m in the process of using modxhost template and customising it. i’ve changed the art colors and added a 3rd column etc and have lots more to do to make it different.
however, i can change things in modx manager and also in the templates folder but how do i get them to collate with each other.
what i mean is if i change the template in modx manager, the changes don’t appear in the .tpl file in the folder of the template i’ve modified. can anyone suggest how i get it synchronised to match up? thanks for any help.

What .tpl file? Templates are stored in the database. Only external files, such as .css files and images, are stored in the templates folder.
ah, so it’s not gonna update the .tpl file in my assets, templates folder then?
