For me In Firefox 2.0.0.9, the
sections are crossed with horizontal lines when scrolled off the screen, then back on. This only happens if the sections are scrolled off the bottom of the screen (not the top) and then scrolled back into view.
It doesn't happen with [quote] sections or sigs, just the and it doesn't happen in IE.
Oddly, the horizontal lines get closer together toward the bottom of the code section (doppler effect?).
Is this happening to others or is it just me?

Yeah, it happens here too, and and the strike through lines usually disappear after scrolling. But it’s not a new phenomena, I had it with earlier versions of FF as well. I was thinking it’s related maybe to some incompatibilities between FF and my NVIDIA graphic driver. Or maybe simply a lack of performance of my graphic card? I don’t care that much - I simply scroll up and down, and then usually the effect is gone.

Yeah definitely happened (for me, just with Code box) with earlier FF but doesn’t relate to Nvidia, my ATI cards have this as well

Yeah, here too just for the code box - but interestingly enough not with Bob’s example.
Same here. That suggests that it only happens with a code box that actually contains code.
<?php
if ($something) {
echo "hello";
} else {
echo "goodbye";
?>
LOL, I just previewed this and with no lines and then realized I’m in IE.
Edit: Came back in FF and can’t seem to make it happen. I tried snippet calls and various php lines with no luck. It seems to me that it usually happens with almost every multi-line code box so it’s strange that I can’t duplicate it.

I’ve been getting this ever since FF 1.5 or thereabouts, on both a PowerBook and my iBook.
When scrolling UP the border lines get drawn repeatedly; scroll fast enough and it doesn’t happen, scroll real slow and you’ll get lots and lots of lines. Scroll DOWN and they go away. If the box is in a position on the screen so you can scroll down to it, that is.
