SekFormTools - Datepicker not working on ipad/iphone

I am using datapicker from sekformtools to show a calender from which to pick a date. This works fine in Firefox/IE, but when using on an ipad or iphone it is not possible to select a date - any ideas as to what the problem could be? anyone seen anything similar before? I am using MODX Revo 2.2.6 and sekformtools 0.0.6

Thanks - not sure though whether i have implemented it incorrectly or whether it is an issue with setkformtools........... Will post and see where i get.
