Wayfinder problem when inside PHx isnot:then:else statement

I use the following Wayfinder/Phx call to display a list of specifications that a product meets:
[*nhs_material-specs:isnot=``:then=`[[Wayfinder? &startId=`53` &includeDocs=`[*nhs_material-specs*]` &outerTpl=`wfUL` &rowTpl=`idPageTitle2` &ignoreHidden=`TRUE`]]`:else=``*]

This used to work great but recently after updating to Evo 10.0.10 and PHx 2.2.0, I now just get a blank whether or not nhs_material-specs is blank or not.

I've tried breaking up the line to test each part.
[*nhs_material-specs*]
[*nhs_material-specs:isnot=``:then=`not blank`:else=`blank`*]
[[Wayfinder? &startId=`53` &includeDocs=`[*nhs_material-specs*]` &outerTpl=`wfUL` &rowTpl=`idPageTitle2` &ignoreHidden=`TRUE`]]

Each line above appears to work correctly. If the TV nhs_material-specs is not blank, then I get the IDs, `not blank`, and a list of the specs. Works Great!

If the nhs_material-specs is blank, then I get a blank line, `blank`, and a list of all material specs ( I really want this list to be blank).

Wayfinder appears to ignore the $includedocs parameter when it ="". That's why the :isnot=``:then:else code was added.

My question is, why doesn't the Wayfinder snippet work when it's inside the Phx code?

It turns out that rolling PHx back to version 2.1.3 solved the problem. Now my questions is, Is there a way to make this work using PHx 2.2.0?

I would recommend avoiding PHx whenever humanly possible. It causes as many problems as it solves IMO, and unlike PHP, when PHx fails, you get no helpful error messages or line numbers.
