Description of Problem:
I have just upgraded from 2.1.3 to 2.2.7
When I try and access the manager login I get the following message -
Fatal error: Call to a member function render() on a non-object in ...../manager/controllers/default/welcome.class.php on line 65
Steps to Reproduce:
Attempt manager login
I have tried clearing /core/cache/ and deleting browser cookies
The manager is still logged in and I can access it directly without going through the login screen through URLs in my web history. I tried to logout as recommended during the setup process but my username and password were not accepted. I have kept cookies on my main browser so that I am not locked out, but have tried cookie reset on a separate browser. The manager still says 2.1.3-pl (traditional) at the top of the screen, but the package management interface has changed, and the login screen says 2.2.7

I have a bigger log file that I downloaded from the server but I can't upload it as it is 3.6MB and I get an error message. The above log is what is currently in the manager log.
