Hi there. I’m experiencing some issues installing a Modx developed site on a new server.

The site was developed on: PHP: 4.4.6 / Mysql: 5.0.27 and the destination server runs: PHP: 5.2.2 / Mysql: 5.0.22

    Is this a php5 thing?

    Thanks

I should probably mention that the front end if showing fine - it’s just the /manager/ that cannot be accessed due to the errors mentioned.

Sounds like maybe there is some extra whitespace before the opening or after the closing php tags in your config.inc.php file. If you manually edited this file, double check to make sure <?php is the very first line, and ?> the very last line, in the file.

There’s no extra whitespace in config.inc.php before or after opening/closing php tags.
Just to be sure I uploaded a config file from a working modx 0.9.6 site and then pasted in the correct sql connection details - same issue though.
I also uploaded a fresh copy of /manager/index.php

          - no change :0

The space could be in any file used in the manager including language files, processors, actions, modules, snippets, etc...

Thanks Ryan. I’ve refreshed all of the files from a virgin modx 0.9.6. package - though I still get the same error when accessing /manager/
The same files work perfectly well on the development server.

Try the less-than-24-hours-old 0961 in the downloads section.
