Modx & Cloudflare

Hi All

I am writing this post regarding cloudflare ( a service that prevent DDOS attacks ).
I am actually using it, and I was wondering weather the Modx Team was planning to create a plugin about it ?

Hello,

There is a dashboard widget currently in development to enable CloudFlare control from the Manager. If you would like to help get it out the door sooner shoot me a PM.

Also you might want to note that in some instances you need to disable CloudFlare on the manager and connector folders via pagerules for proper functionality.

Of course I would be interested having cloudflare into the manager, but what is important for me is to see visitors original ip addresses instead of cloudflare ones.

If I disable cloudflare on manager and connector pages, will that help me ?

So far, when somebody submit a comment on quip, I can't see his real ip, this is a problem when it comes to ban spammers...
