I noticed that package management downloads a file to: core/packages/easycopyright-1.1.1-pl.transport.zip
It then unzips this to a folder called easycopyright-1.1-pl
The installer fails as it cannot find what it is looking for, which is: core/packages/easycopyright-1.1.1-pl
Renaming the folder by adding a .1 to the name ie: easycopyright-1.1.1-pl allows the installer to run.

Interesting, that's been an issue for a couple years now.
Although, take a look at the copyright extra, which is super easy to use and downloads and installs from package management without having to fiddle with the folder name. It's also very simple to use.

The developer (amdbuilder) is also actually active on the forums and would take the time to fix the package if it behaved like easycopyright does. Far sooner than 2-3 years down the road. Principles do matter :~}
Good point! Thanks. I'll give 'copyright' a spin.
