I've Install the last version of modx rev 2.2.6 and I've seen that there are some changes. what the need of the column "properties" on the table "modx_site_content" ?

Actually that was added for 2.2.1. As to what they might be used for, or how they might be used, I have a very tenuous idea. It could be something to do with making custom resource types.

If anybody's interested in the process of figuring out what that was for, first I checked the changelog here
https://github.com/modxcms/revolution/blob/develop/core/docs/changelog.txt to find where it was added. I knew that somewhere around 2.2 was where custom resource types (pioneered by the Articles custom resource type) was enabled, so that was a pretty good guess.

That changelog entry gave me the Tracker ID, so I went to the Tracker and searched for that ID.
