Hi - I've had a search but can't see anything, so I'm wondering if anybody can point me to some resources for this, as I'm sure someone must have asked this, and there is probably an easy solution.
I am using Evo 1.0.6 for this at the moment.
If, for example, I have a template with a right hand column, and sometimes there is a video, sometimes an image, sometimes both, and sometimes neither, in that right hand column, each populated by a TV. At the moment I am generating four templates, and the editor then chooses which template to use.
I don't want to have to generate loads of templates, so is there a way of doing this by having one template and then in the manager the editor can choose which TVs should appear on the page, using checkboxes or similar.
Or is this something I could do with Phx, and if the TVs are left empty the code doesn't show.
Any pointers gratefully received.
Cheers
you can do it with phx
[*yourtv:notempty=`{{yourChunk}}`*]
or
[*yourtv:isnot=``:then=`{{yourChunk}}`:else=``*]
or you can have a checkbox-TV with inputoptions like that:
show chunk A=={{chunkA}}||show chunk B=={{chunkB}}||show chunk C=={{chunkC}}
and put just the TV-tag of this checkbox-TV into you template
Magic - thanks. As I suspected.
Will try both methods to get my head round them, though both look straightforward.
Cheers
