    I have switched my Evo site from one server to another, shared server. It new home is within a directory: /mysite/.

    Perhaps because of this my css and images are no longer connected (though the database is). Could this be because of the sites new position on the server?

    I noticed if I changed the paths from eg assets/image/pic.jpg to mysite/assets/image/pic.jpb it works again. Is there a way to set this in the config file?

    Thanks!
    • Do you have something like
      <base href="[(site_url)]">

      in your template's head?

      Check your system settings in the Interface and Features tab as well as the File Manager tab to make sure you have the updated paths there.

      Also be aware of the difference now in absolute paths and URLs and relative ones; it's very important when you're in a subdirectory like that.

        Hi Everybody,
        Sottwell 100% worng to change site path lets us follow me:

        You need to change $modx_base_url= '/' in /core/config/config.inc.php and if that is not enough - manually clean /core/cache/ folder.

          I think you may need to upload the original install folder, and then run the installer in upgrade mode to fix the paths.

            I think thats for Revo, not evo
            • Indeed. The original poster is using Evolution. Quite different from Revolution.
