I am using modx rev 2.2.7.

Working in the manager, i can save sucessfully ( a chunk, snippet, template ... ).
If i look at my website, the change is there (public website).

But if i load the chunk again for example in the manager, it shows the old version.
If i log off, clean my browser cache(both firefox and chrome same issue) and then login - the new version shows.

Seems like some strange cache storage is going on. Any ideas of why and has anyone else experienced it? [ed. note: DesignByWilliam last edited this post 11 years ago.]

Its not only content that is cached somehow. It's also setting like "static".

Thanks for the answer, but i don't think that is the problem. [ed. note: DesignByWilliam last edited this post 11 years ago.]

          • cache_db and cache_db_session in System Settings are off, right? Maybe make sure manager_html5_cache is off as well.

One other thing to try is keep Chrome developer tools open with the Disable Cache setting checked. That'll ensure nothing's being cached locally due to some strange expires headers.

Turned off html5_cache, and now it works. Atleast with only quick testing. Thanks a lot for the help!
