Babel - Temporary URL

    Is it possible to install and configure Babel on a temporary url while the site is being developed? The tutorials seem to assume the live domain. I'd like to avoid lots of troubleshooting if it's not even possible.

    If so, any guidance on how to approach develop then switching to the live domain? I suspect there could be lots of htaccess issues.
