I'm having a strange problem with Modx 2.2.6 on a machine configured as follows:
Host OS: Linux Mint Maya 13, with XAMPP, VirtualBox 4.2.12 (network mode = NAT)
Guest OS: Windows 8
I can access Modx fine from the guest via 10.0.2.2./modx/manager. The UI works.
The website I am developing, however, does not work properly. For example, 10.0.2.2/modx/index.php?id=1 (the home page) displays only text; CSS is not working, and images are not retrieved. On the other hand, another page, 10.0.2.2/modx/index.php?id=6 works perfectly, and it uses the same template as the home page.
I have not modified any Apache settings, but I believe if it were an Apache problem, I would not be able to access anything. I've also added 10.0.2.2 to the Windows hosts file, just in case.
Incidentally, I have some standalone pages on the host not managed by Modx (e.g. 10.0.2.2/scratchpad/ss.php) that all work fine (CSS, images, etc.).
Does anyone have an idea why some pages might display correctly, while others do not? Again, if it were a configuration issue with Apache, I'd expect "all or nothing." Any pointers would be greatly appreciated.
