Specify the display order for Template Variables in a Resource

When I open a Resource that has Template Variables, the Template Variables display in their "resource id" order.

Can I specify a different order for the display?

This would be very helpful for the case when I have a large number of Template Variables that I am trying to match up to a predefined screen with matching values.

Are you talking about the order they display in the Template Variables tab of the resource? If so you need to use Form Customization, you can find more info here and in my tutorial.

Thank you - i think eightday's solution will do what i what i want. Your's seems valuable too but for a different problem.

Interesting I did not know that or I overlooked it since I use Form Customization so much, there always seems to be more ways than one to do things in MODX
