I have a custom package with custom tables built with MIGXdb, it's set up as a CMP and works perfectly (displaying/editing data).

Now I would like to display all or subset of the records in a resource MIGXdb TV. I created a new migxdb TV, assigned it to a template and gave it the same MIGX configuration as I use for the CMP, then created a resource with that template assigned. but when I view the resource and click the load table button, it doesn't get any results back (the post response says total 0)...any ideas what I may be doing wrong?

thanks for any advice! [ed. note: exside last edited this post 13 years, 5 months ago.]

OK, I found a solution =)...I just duplicated the default processor folder under core/components/migx/processors/default/ and renamed it. That because got an error about some resource.id check that failed against my table (sure, I don't have such a field =D, but it's triggered because I call it from a resource)...so what I did was just uncomment the respective parts in the getlist.php processor (everything that has to do with $resource_id) and then it works like on the cmp grid, as far as I can tell...

do I may run into problems with this / is this the way to do it?

If you need any TVs in your grid you should use/copy the getlist.php from childresources, not the one from default/ into your own package-directory/processors/mgr/xxxx/getlist.php

[edit] I see you are talking about a custom-table

just select 'no' in MIGXdb-settings for 'Check Resource'
