I just received an email from a client reporting that she has problems with inserting images into the image TVs. I double-checked on my end and I can confirm this issue. As far as I know this started happening after upgrading to 2.2.7 a few days ago.
Drag n Drop image from "Files" tab:
The image TV is assigned to the client's media source (path: assets/client/). When an image is inserted via drag n drop from the "Files" tab into the image TV input field, modx changes the URL to "assets/clients/gallery/image1.jpg" in the input field, which results in the URL "assets/clients/assets/clients/gallery/image1.jpg". This url is wrong which leads to a broken link :S
Using the drop-down to select an image:
Using the drop-down on the image tv (modx-browser) to insert the image path results in the URL "gallery/image1.jpg", which outputs "assets/clients/gallery/image1.jpg". This is the correct link.
So I assume that modx is somehow ignoring the assigned media source for a certain TV if drag n drop is used which leads to broken URLs if the filesystem/default media source ("/") is not used.
I'd really appreciate if somebody could re-check/reproduce this issue on 2.2.7.
