Answered Missing Setup step in 2.2.7 upgrade

    I'm upgrading to 2.2.7, and I once again hit the problem with core.transport.zip in core/packages being too large for my server to unzip. I used the workaround that I used for 2.2.6 (manually installed the files then created a smaller core.transport.zip).

    However, when I try to run through setup again, I'm getting a weird error where the setup/index.php?action=options page is giving me a 500 server error. When I reload it, it prompts if I want to resubmit the form, and takes me to setting up the database, instead of going to an Upgrade install.

    Any ideas?

      That is usually an indication that the /core/config/config.inc.php file is not set with any values or not present. Ensure that you have your valid config.inc.php file. Additionally if you are using the Advanced build and used a different configuration key make sure you change it on the second setup page and set your configuration key to match.

        Ahh, I even went back and forth checking the permissions on the config file. I must've messed up somewhere. It was indeed a 'blank' config file which I replaced with my backup.
