EventsX Json request

I'am trying to integrate a calendar for events on a site I'm developing. I can't seem to get the calendar.js working. The json request fails, no wonder since its requesting it from a url that does'nt exist. /eventsxJSON is specified as the data source in calendar.js. How is this suppose to work? Sorry about the newbie question.
