New install - site tree icons missing

Hi all,

I've installed MODx 2.2.7 as well as trying 2.2.6, but I got the same issue. The icons above the site tree are missing. So far, that's the only issue.

I've tried:
- deleting the folder in the core/cache manually, as well as running set up again.
- deleting browser cache
- changing permissions to 777 to all folders and files
- viewed the manager through different computers and browsers

Still no go.

I'm installing locally on our server, and have had no issues in the past. Any ideas? I'll keep trying to problem-solve tomorrow.

First off are the image files actually installed properly in manager>>templates>>default>>images>>tree ?

And secondly when you inspect the in element in the browser, are the file locations correct?

- The images are in the 'manager > templates > default > images > tree' folder....hmmm.

- It's strange. When I inspect the elements, there aren't any calls to the icons that are missing. There are other successful calls, like 'manager/templates/default/images/modx-theme/grid/page-next.png'.

Oh, also, I changed 'compress_js' and 'compress_css' to 'No' in the System Settings coz I saw other people had success with that. But didn't change anything for me :S

Thanks...I'll keep looking. I'm comparing the inspected elements of a working site versus my new install. I'll see if I get anything.

I'm taking a closer look, and I see a difference in the calls between my two sites:

Working site MODx 2.1.5:

So obviously the image isn't being called at all. The image DOES exist though.

Sorry for the multiple posts...but just thinking out loud here.

I had another look at the 'compress_js' and 'compress_css' settings and it actually DOES make a difference when i switch them to 'No'. I just didn't realize it. Initially none of the icons were showing. Then when I toggled those two settings, most of them show up.

But the problem still exists because the row of buttons above the site tree still don't show.

OKAY! Solved.

I had spaces in my directories. All I had to do was change the spaces to underscores, and run the set up again.
