Anybody knows the meaning of the following error? The site was running just fine a few hours ago - no new packages installed. Now, the manager is taking ages to load and the front-end is in slow mode to.

    • That error generally points to a MySQL issue, you might try checking all of your tables.

For anyone interested, I checked all tables, cleared overheads and everything seems to be fine on the database front. The hosting company is under ddos attack that targets their Wordpress install. I guess everyone on their shared platform is also affected. This issue can be considered closed for the moment.

          • I'm glad to hear you identified the problem, the wordpress attack has definitely been affecting hosts lately.

            Thanks for reporting back!

            • Yes, I was hoping you guys were doing OK with that. Nasty business. It's a crying shame that a few jerks have to spoil things for the rest of us.
