Problem with NewsPublisher

Hi guys!
I use MODX Revo 2.2.6 and HybridAuth and installed NewsPublisher.
I added NpEditThisButton snippet call to template:
Front end edit working. But the user can edit other documents (created by another user). The button "Edit" is displayed to all users, and not on the pages that they have created.
This allows them to edit other people's pages. How to fix it?

You would probably need to make a custom snippet to check if the document was created by the current user and if true then display the NewsPublisher button.

Ben's idea sounds excellent (as usual). You could replace the NpEditThisButton tag with this:

Then create a snippet called CheckUsersOwnPage with this code:

or, as a one-line snippet:

Thanks for help!
Bob, it works. Thank for NewsPublisher

You're welcome. I'm glad it worked for you.
