Where have all my logfiles gone? (2.2.7 Upgrade problem)

After having updated from 2.2.6 to 2.2.7 the error log is gone. Wanted to check the re-added refresh button at the Error Log, but it was surprisingly empty.
What I can see for now: there is no log file folder created under /core/cache/. Creating it manually does not trigger the creation of the log file as well.

Does anyone now about logging changes or can confirm an upgrade problem?

Did you manually clear the cache prior to running the upgrade? If so, that's where it went. Do something to cause an error, then try your new button.

(you are supposed to clear the cache prior to upgrading btw)

I did clear it. Also deleted any cache files from the file system.
Anyway, the problem seems to have gone away. Now there is a logfile under core/cache/logs and of course it shows up in der Error Report and the button works. Do not know why it did not work out before, there should have been a lot of lines in there because my logging level is set to 4.
