I have a bunch of user-uploaded images, which I would ideally like the client to be able to resize via the manager...
Are there any packages for this already? All I have found is packages that resize images when they're requested by the frontend, and then this is done programmatically rather than via a GUI.

It's almost correct, but the images aren't part of a template variable - they're uploaded to a folder, and I store their path in the DB, which is then later retrieved by an AJAX call as part of a JSON result.
I think I may have found the answer though -- I can programmatically resize the images at the point of the AJAX call if no already-resized image exists.
