URL TV Problem ($v)

Hi:

For some reason when some users edit a ’URL’ TV it does a some weird things:

For example:
If I select HTTP from the drop down and enter www.ukmn.com as the URL the save, the URL becomes:
$vwww.ukmn.com

It seems to happen quite randomly, has anybody else seen this error?

In file [tt]manager/includes/tmplvars.inc.php[/tt] find this code (line 105):

$field_html.='<option value="$v" selected="selected">'.$k.'</option>';

and replace with:

$field_html.='<option value="'.$v.'" selected="selected">'.$k.'</option>';

Which version of MODx ?

If it’s a bug of the current release please submit this patch in our bug report tool... so that it doesn’t get lost in the forums and makes it to the next release... thanks
