First, I sincerely apologize if asking for this means violating some forum rules. I could understand that.
I am developer as well, and you can be sure, that I am well aware, how annyoing is getting plethora of questions about "how? when?" from horde of maniac users

. I am generally patient, when it comes to wait for new software, but I’m in specific situation and would like to know some answers, to know what to do.
I am going to start CMS project for my customer quite soon (2-3 weeks). As I understand, 0.9.7 is still in development. Im not asking for any promises, but just want to know if it’s possible, that 0.9.7 could be released in next couple of weeks? I really see MODx as the first REAL PHP CMS here in the market and while I haven’t dug deep, I think I really like it now. Grats guys! And I know what I’m saying, because I were working with Day’s Communique, OpenCMS, Magnolia, Alfresco and some "so-called" CMSes in PHP, like e107, Drupal, Joomla/Mambo, etc. I would like to start my learning from 0.9.7 and it would also be cool to impress client with 0.9.7 features.
I’ve seen the trac issues and also downloaded 0.9.7 branch from SVN, but was unable to install it (couldn’t connect to DB - mysql5, and some xPDO paths were inproper. Am I missing something? 0.9.6 installs and works fine on the same setup). If 0.9.7 is released, how much does the API change and how the current (brilliant) documentation will fit in?
