    Hi,

    This may sound very noobish...

    I’ve got this call:

    [[MaxiGallery? &display=`embedded` &embedtype=`lightboxv2` &pics_in_a_row=`3` &max_thumb_size=`110` &max_pic_size=`0` &thumb_use_dropshadow=`1`]]

I got it from a Maxygallery demo site:

    http://www.netguru.fi/modx/maxigallery-lightbox2.html

But it’s not working as it should!! I want to have the same effects as in the demo page above... Why is it not working??

    Here’s my page:

    http://www.externatofernandopessoa.000webhost.info/index.php?id=7
    http://www.externatofernandopessoa.000webhost.info

And here’s a pic from my doc tree, if it’s worth:

    Thank you very much.

You might want to run your page through an HTML validater and make sure it’s layout is correct.

I’ve just made a fresh install of modx, installed this snippet, used the instructions at the wiki site, and I’m still not getting the pretty lighbox gallery as shown in the demo... I don’t get it, what am I doing wrong?

Here’s the link to it so you can see for yourself:

i think you should reinstall/reupload the maxigallery folder....

because your call is okay (it work on my install) but the javascript are not embed in your header.. you must have that code :
          <script type="text/javascript" src="/assets/snippets/maxigallery/lightboxv2/js/lightbox_setup.js"></script>
          <script type="text/javascript" src="/assets/snippets/maxigallery/lightboxv2/js/lightbox_lang_en.js"></script>
          <script type="text/javascript" src="/assets/snippets/maxigallery/lightboxv2/js/prototype.js"></script>
          <script type="text/javascript" src="/assets/snippets/maxigallery/lightboxv2/js/scriptaculous.js?load=effects"></script>
          <script type="text/javascript" src="/assets/snippets/maxigallery/lightboxv2/js/lightbox.js"></script>

by the way i suggest you try the slimbox gallery (same but with mootools).
            CTRL+SHIFT+U - Clear Cache
            CTRL+SHIFT+H - Hiding Heft Panel
            CTRL+SHIFT+N - Fast Create Resource
CTRL+ALT+P - Preview Recource (in edit resorce window)
            CTRL+ALT+S - Save

            Done that. Still not working...

Maybe there is some php restriction in the server? I don’t know...

This is the third time I try to install maxygallery, each time on a different server:

            000webhost.com
            x10hosting.com
            110mb.com
It never seems to work. I must be doing something wrong! But what? It’s not that complicated to install this snippet.

What is the exact snippet call that you are using?

EDIT: oh, and use slimbox embed type if you have scripts that use MooTools

Well, on the folder/parent document I have this:

                [!MaxiGallery? &display=`childgalleries`!]

                And in the gallery document:

                [[MaxiGallery? &display=`embedded` &embedtype=`lightboxv2` &pics_in_a_row=`3` &max_thumb_size=`110` &max_pic_size=`0` &thumb_use_dropshadow=`1`]]

Both documents aren’t cacheable. And I’m not using any scripts, this is just a fresh install of maxigallery.

                Thank you very much

Again.. use slimbox instead of lightboxv2.. that menu in the template uses MooTools. You also have old parameter names in the call, pics_in_a_row is renamed to pics_per_row.
