    set your system-setting debug to 0

    And I have another option for you, which you can try to switch publish/unpublish for a MIGX-TV:

    1. hide the publish-column from grid, but let it in the columns-config with its renderOptions <- Its important its there with its options, the selected images doesn't matter any more.
    2. create a new column with a renderChunk - renderer, you can name its field as you like (not 'published')
    3. add one renderOption with the name of a chunk
    4. create a chunk with that name and code like that:

    [[+published:is=`1`:then=`
    <a href="#"><img title="unpublish" alt="unpublish" src="/assets/components/migx/style/images/tick.png" class="controlBtn unpublish this.handleColumnSwitch published"></a>
    `:else=`
    <a href="#"><img title="unpublish" alt="publish" src="/assets/components/migx/style/images/cross.png" class="controlBtn publish this.handleColumnSwitch published"></a>
    `]]

      -------------------------------

      you can buy me a beer, if you like MIGX

        RenderChunk is really amazing, I have combined all of my row buttons into one chunk:

          I have one (not the default one, which seems to be the problem), but I cannot choose it as I can normally in the filemanager MS-Dropdown...there is none =)

          Any idea about why that notice messages are showing up? Checked migx.class.php at the related lines, but couldn't find anything bad looking^^...for me it would be fine if I could just stop these from showing up at the top of the manager =D...

          should be fixed

            I have a strange problem with the publish chunk, if I edit a row, the button changes to unpublished.

              do you have the published-field in your formtabs. I think it needs to be there. Can also be a hidden TVtype, I think.

                yup:

                my buttons row chunk looks like this:

                <ul class="actions">
                <li><a class="controlBtn update this.update" href="#">Edit</a></li>
                <li><a class="controlBtn remove this.remove" href="#">Delete</a></li>
                [[+published:is=`1`:then=`
                <li><a href="#" class="controlBtn unpublish this.handleColumnSwitch published">unpublish</a></li>
                `:else=`
                <li><a href="#"class="controlBtn publish this.handleColumnSwitch published">Publish</a></li>
                `]]
                </ul>

                    I actually never touched this in that installation, it's empty...any idea what the default is? But with your newest beta this is fixed, thanks very much!

                    I switched up my whole media source configuration so the default MS (1) points to the webroot, now the tick/cross images show up in the migx configurator correctly but still not in the actual migx grid (initially, only when clicked once), probably have to try the renderChunk option, thanks for the suggestion!

                    @eightday: what does the this.renderFirst actually do?

                      thank you Bruno, that has done the trick.

                      firstRender shows the first option in a tv that has input options setup like this pagetitle:pageid, very handy! [ed. note: eighthday last edited this post 13 years, 6 months ago.]
