Modx evo 1.0.9 cant create new users

Hi all,

Having a problem making an account for a customer. Never had this problem with 1.0.8 so not sure if its a new bug or something else?

I can create web users fine and if I check the database the users are listed. Modx wont display them and they cant login either.

I can confirm this problem. MODX 1.0.9 doesn't save the settings of a new user.

When looking into the tables, modx_manager_users shows in the password column "uncrypt>19860fe9d05606b4a0cd395b85a71026ad0dc204"

There seems to be an error with encryption, or simply a typo in the code.

Wonder how hard it is to downgrade? As I have a client waiting to enter their content.

no need to downgrade. I just discovered that this bug already has been solved, there is a new file "save_user.processor.php" available here:

https://forums.modx.com/thread/83316/fast-fix-can-not-make-new-manager-user#dis-post-459646

it has to go into folder manager/processors/ and replace the existing one. Not yet tried, but I'm optimistic.
