modx or tinymce adds /manager/ to all links

I am running 0.9.6-RC2 on a live site, and every time i create a link in the TinyMCE editor, it adds /manager/ before the url like so:

<a href="/manager/[~1~]">link</a>

can anyone direct me to a solution for this problem? its pretty hard to search the forums for "adds manager to url"

I’d check the paths configuration in the Tools > Configuration section and possibly under the resource config itself. The 096 RCs underwent a ton of changes, so it might make sense to upgrade to the full release as well.
