Hi,
I'm using MODx Revolution 2.2.6 and I've installed MIGX 2.3.2. I'm relatively new to this, I've been creating a site on my local machine before I attempt to put a site online. Just been trying to get MIGX to work using example code from a tutorial. So the problem is probably something obvious.
I created a migx type TV.
This is in the Form tabs:
[
{"caption":"Image Properties", "fields": [
{"field":"name","caption":"Name","inputTVtype":"text"},
{"field":"image","caption":"Image","inputTVtype":"image"}
]}
]
This is in the Grid columns section:
[
{"header": "Name", "width": "160", "sortable": "true", "dataIndex": "name"},
{"header": "Image", "width": "50", "sortable": "false", "dataIndex": "image","renderer":"this.renderImage"}
]
I managed to upload a couple of images from the manager without problem, but when I try and get the images onto the page using this code:
<ul>
[[!getImageList?
&tvname=`WacImagesTV`
&tpl=`@CODE:<li>[[+idx]]<img src="[[+image]]"/><p>[[+name]]</p></li>`]]
</ul>
What I get is "Fatal error: Call to a member function getSource() on a non-object in C:\xampp\htdocs\wylamwebsite\core\cache\includes\elements\modsnippet\20.include.cache.php on line 122"
Any ideas, or is this something terminal?
Thanks
Allan
Are you sure this is the correct name of your TV?
WacImagesTV
Or is it WacImages ?
Seems it couldn't get the TV - object.
Hi Bruno,
I cut and pasted the name, so it should be correct. Ought I to be using a different page to output the images rather than the one that I'm using as input? I've tried restarting the server, zapping the cache but it still gives the same error.
Earlier it was giving 4 Input_id errors then outputting the path to the first picture but now it seems to have taken a gliff completely.
cheers
Allan
Tried restoring the computer to a point before I installed MIGX. Installed MIGx and set up page and new TV as described in the tutorial. I can upload an image without any problems and I can see it when I look at the TV tab of the page, but if I try and view the page I still get the same error. Looking in the site error log there is this message:
[2013-04-03 21:25:50] (ERROR @ /wylamwebsite/manager/index.php) Error 42S02 executing statement:
Array
(
[0] => 42S02
[1] => 1146the other
[2] => Table 'wylamweb.modx_migx_configs' doesn't exist
)
The table does exist but it doesn't contain any rows. Don't know if that is pertinent to the Fatal Error message.
