    Hi all.
Google Coop is a slick way to get a Google search integrated into your site. Not that I don’t love AjaxSearch, but sometimes you need Google.

Problem is that it uses "&q=" a URL string like this:
    http://www.thegatewayonline.ca/google-search-results.html?cx=017073675901001357276%3A3vtnvqi_zek&cof=FORID%3A9&q=pumpkin&sa=Search

This has the "&q=" for the search string. MODx uses the same variable for IDs/aliases, so, when q=pumpkin, MODx errors out (since there are no pages with "pumpkin" as the alias.

Thoughts? Short of a massive core hack I can’t think of a quick way around this conflict.
    Thanks.

Good call, ganeshXL. Not the most ideal of solutions, but it does indeed work. Now if only I had the time to play with having Google Coop output some XML, parsing it, then feeding it to Ditto for some Google-powered Ditto-formatted search results... wink (not going to happen anytime soon for me, but an interesting idea nonetheless.)
