Hello, I came across a strange thing: I followed this post http://rtfm.modx.com/display/revolution20/Manager+Templates+and+Themes, and set up my custom login page in my template folder, under custom. I am using MODX Revolution 2.2.4-pl (traditional) so I didn't copy any other files but my login under security. I changed the manager_theme in my system settings to point at my custom folder, and the login now displays my custom login form as it should.

However, I then logged back to my manager and some pages are now broken (media source, resource group) when everything else works fine. If I change the manager_theme back to default, they work again simply by reloading the page. Any idea?

Thanks in advance! [ed. note: helene last edited this post 13 years, 6 months ago.]

Have you verified that the new theme folders have the proper permissions to allows the them to be accessed? Also you should make sure to clear the site cache prior to reloading to ensure all referenced objects in cache are rebuilt on refresh.

      Cheers

Charless, thank you for your answer.

Well, file wise, the permissions are exactly the same as the others. Modx Permissions wise, I don't know how to set permissions for that specific file, and I don't understand why the rest of the manager can access it fine, but not those two specific locations. In other words, what is on those pages that gets broken when I load another template? Especially when all there is in that template is the login page and nothing else. How does that affect the Media Source page only? I also cleared the cache several times.
