Someone I work with made a comment that got me to thinking. I was curious if there was any consensus on the topic of automatically checking in content that a person may have checked out overnight. The comment came while talking about the need to manage a page by the comment-er while it had been checked out by another and that it should be automatically checked in by the system at some point overnight so that it would be available for another to make changes.
I myself, am leaning away from doing something like this because I don't know the intentions or the situation of the other person who has the page checked out but am new enough to the whole CMS thing that I don't want to be that steadfast in my opinions when there may be very good rationale for doing so.
Not being that familiar with MODX I was wondering if this was a capability that MODX has and if there are any other opinions on whether or not some process like this should or should not be implemented?
