phpthumbof png trouble with reload of website

Hi there!

I am hosting a modx website for a customer.
They tried to get it up and runing. Everything worked fine but after all it did not work correctly.
the problem is: load the website: all images are shown. Reload the website (ctrl + r) the images are loaded only 50-70% - the rest is white....

Has anyone this problem?

Apache 2 with php 5.2.6 and fcgi

Have been some (very old) mod_deflate settings at apache level.
Resolved it by changing to newer setting.

The old setting didi not recognize if the php file was an image (as it is with phpthumb).
