How to let members administer their own content?

Hi,

I'm not sure how to solve the following, I'd be glad about any hints:

I have a modx site with a member area secured by login snippet, which works fine. So users have an account. Now I would like to have two additional things:

1. Users shall have the possibility to create an "About me" page, this shall be structered (Name, Surname, About me, Experience, ...). So I guess I need a form for this, as I would like to restrict i.e. the amount of text the user is allowed to type.

2. In an unrestricted container area on the site, lets call it "User overview", I would like to have a nice formatted user list with only some things like name, telefon, email, webpage and a link "more info", which leads to the "About me" page of the user with the things the user put in under 1.

As I wrote, any help is greatly appreciated!

solved via Addons Login (UpdateProfile with extended fields) and Peoples (extended fields accessible as well).
