Is it possible to limit which documents a manager user can edit? I did not find any info regarding this and was unable to accomplish this on my own. I think that this is possible but how?
What would be cool would be to have the doc tree only show the docs that the manager can edit.

er... it does. You have to create a user group, a document group, and connect the two (this is in manager permissions), then assign the manager user to his group, and the documents he can edit to the corresponding document groups.
Thank you for pointing that out. I was sure it should do that but it was not working...or seemed not to be working. What was puzzling me was that when selecting a document group not only the doc group but all public pages were available as well (makes sense). So to get the behavior that I want I would need to have no public pages. It is also confusing that the document web and manager group selectors are together in the same area, it makes it seem that the page will no longer be public to web users when selecting a manager group. It would make it more clear to have a web user section with a separate manager group selector.
