    Hi!

    After installing "ajaxmanager" addon, my complete modx installation got broken. So I tried several things to get it work again, but nothing helped. So I decided to export the database with mysqldumper and import it on a fresh installation.

    But everytime, I import it, I have the same problems again. My question, how can I just import the very important resources, no extras, no settings.... I tried to just import several tables with mysqldumper, but everytime I can't login after this....

    This is the error I am getting after ajaxmanager install:
    Namespaces

    Handle namespaces, which distinguish between different custom-added components.

    core

    {core_path}

    {assets_path}

    thank you!

      I think you could use MyComponent for this. You'd just create a new project in the UI, edit the header info in the project config file, in that same file, delete all the arrays for the objects and specify the resources you want in the 'exportResources' section. Then, run Bootstrap, ExportObjects, and Build. That would give you a package in core/packages that you could install by copying it to the target site's core/packages directory and doing "Search Locally for Packages" in Package Manager.

      I think you would lose any TV values set for specific resources (unless you add references for them in the 'resources' member of the config file), though inherited values should still be there.

      You could also just export and import the modx_site_content table, but doing that would risk having the templates set wrong (which kind of blows things up) and having TVs set to the wrong values.

        Hi BobRay,

        thanks again for your help! I just blew it up and reinstalled the whole setup. But I will keep in mind! I didn't get rid of the error I got with ajaxmanager - is it possible to uninstall packages via commandline from modx?

        I will check out "MyCompontent"!

        thanks,

          I don't know of a way to uninstall packages from the command line, but that doesn't mean there isn't one.
