migx tv with inputTV

I have some problem gettin a propper output from a migx tv, this is my tab config:

{"caption":"Date & Time", "fields": [
{"field":"datetime","caption":"Date & Time","inputTVtype":"date"},
{"field":"cat","caption":"Kats","inputTV":"mycats"}
]}
]

The db entry locks ok. But the rendering with the img snippet does not output cat. do I need a renderer?

What does the grid columns config and the snippet call itself look like? Can you post them both?

Also, is the image TV attached to any template? It should not be, if so.

the grid:

snippet:

the chunk:

<li>[[+datetime:strtotime:date=`%a %e. %B %Y %H:%M`]] [[+cat]]</li>

a json db string

[{"MIGX_id":"1","datetime":"2013-05-23 08:52:18"},{"MIGX_id":"2","datetime":"2013-04-26 20:43:50","cat":"Kat1"}]

When I take out the

,"inputTV":"mycats"

from the tab definition [[+cat]] gets displayed.

ok,ok, stupido.
the tv must not be attached to the template (took this wrong). For what reason ever.

this is because of modx is trying to process the mycats-TV from the resource (or something in that direction), not the one from MIGX when assigned to the resource's template.
