    Hi

Is it in any way possible to have 2 [*content*] tv’s within the same page??? (my instinct says no for obvious reasons, namely there’s only 1 text editor for 1 page). it’s just that i’ve got 2 divs on a certain page and it would be ideal if i could use the text editor for both, as opposed to text editor for just one div and a bunch of chunks for the other div.

And on the subject of chunks, is it bad practice to embed TV’s within chunks???
The reason i ask is that I would like to be able to embed some TV’s within a chunk so I can keep a client away from any form of html whatsoever. This way the TV’s are simply edited via the cms input field and reflected in the page via the chunk.

    thanks

You can easily create a TV with a "Rich Text" input type, maybe name it "content2". Then call it "[*content2*] wherever you want it.

        Oh thanks!
In my haste in getting to grips with the bigger picture of modx i didn’t pay enough attention to this great feature - it works perfectly for what i needed - much appreciated.

Do you have advice on the chunk/tv-embed question?

        thanks

Well, I’ve embedded chunks and snippets in TVs, TVs and snippets in chunks, and used the API to call up TVs, chunks, and snippets in snippet code. There does seem to be some problems with embedding TVs in TVs or chunks with TVs in TVs, though.

Okay, i am going to have to find some time to really experiment with this area - in a bit of a blind rush right now. It does seem there are various possibilities.

thanks for the feedback and info
