Repeat URL for Document Resource with Container checked!

Reproduce the error.

1. Create New Document -> Input all required data -> In my case, I set Resource Alias = "how-are-you" -> On setting page, check Container
2. Craete New Document -> Input all required data -> In my case, I set Resource Alias = "iam-fine".
3. In use URL Friendly
4. I did remove the extension .html from Content Types

What happen?!

1. Access localhost/modx/ => I have the generated URLs as below

1. http://localhost/modx/how-are-you/
   http://localhost/modx/im-fine

2. I click to (2) everything is ok => I have the generated URLs as below

1. http://localhost/modx/how-are-you/
   http://localhost/modx/im-fine

3. If i click (1) => I have the generated URLs as below

1. http://localhost/modx/how-are-you/how-are-you/
   http://localhost/modx/how-are-you/im-fine

4. If i click (1) of 3 above => I have the generated URLs as below

1. http://localhost/modx/how-are-you/how-are-you/how-are-you/
   http://localhost/modx/how-are-you/how-are-you/im-fine

SO, I don't know why.

Do you have the same rewrite base in .htaccess? If so, remove the trailing slash.

I have also manualy modified my alias to make sure that was not the problem

Is MODX installed in a sub sub folder on the server?

i.e. home/serverUsername/public_html/CLIENTS/someClient ??

Or, is it installed in the root public_html folder of your server? If it's in the root, do not even include a rewrite base in .htaccess. Leave that blank.

It's in a sub sub sub folder like this,

Root/CLIENTS/my_client_ROOT/his_client_folder/site_here

I'm also beat... I've reinstalled it from scratch in other directory and same probleme, the only way i've been able to fixe it, was to disable the display container in seo and transalias settings.

I just tried the same setup, and have no problem with it. There must be something else involved.

This is a fresh Revo 2.2.8 installation.

Suffix removed from HTML content type.
Friendly URLs turned on, no other settings changed.

.htaccess - RewriteBase /modx/modx228

Created one resource with "Container" checked.
Created second resource.

Same thing there, I have at least 6 modx revo 2.2.8 installed on that server and that site is the only one doing this... problably something conflicting with other addons
