Answered Template Variable Output Values Disappearing

    Make sure you're calling the TV with the correct method (*, +, or +tv.) in relation to the page it's being displayed on and the resource where the TV is coming from.

      Hi, Dan. Can you give me an example of differences in use? All my other TVs in the chunk use '*' but the one I'm using to output the URl is obviously not right. Here's my example chunk which is being included in multiple templates. It's the Privacy Policy, Accessibility and Terms of Service TVs that are not outputting on other pages. The copyright one works fine.

        An asterisk is used when calling a TV that is associated to the current resource. MODX will look to the current resource for the content of that TV.

            Thanks for all the help guys. I ended up binding my TVs to a parent resource using @INHERIT, after much reading up. The TVs aren't as global as I thought they were so I've had to do it that way. The TVs allow my client to control certain things on the homepage without having to go into the code, so I'm going to use the parent resource as the "settings" page so to speak and form customisation to hide the TVs tabs.
