Complete installation/upgrade with Devo-Blue login page
(replace the MODx Carbon Login page):
- download MODxDevo-Blue1.0-final.zip
- extract and upload "manager" and "assets" folders to your site root
- select Devo-Blue manager theme from configuration page

I'm so close to complete the RC2 with some improvements:

- custom homepage.html with custom icons
- more css changes
- new Resource "Manage Elements" styling

Well, as I suspected from the screenshots, it's too bright for me! But other than personal taste, it seems fine.

You know, a year or so ago I moved the assets/templates/manger stuff back into the actual manger theme folder. The way it is now, every upgrade you have to replace the new files in the assets/templates/manager folder. With the changes I had done, since it was all in the manager/media/style/<theme> folder, upgrades didn't bother anything. If I recall correctly, it wasn't really all that difficult to find and change the references to the files in assets/templates/manager.

The action buttons are a bit big vs the tabs.
Maybe do both in the middle, bigger tabs and less high actionbuttons I dunno.

"Bigger" formfields with border radius will improve the looks.
Maybe you can use a different iconset?

@sottwell, I remember you prefer soft color contrast
please note that the colors are not my goal, I want to make evo manager more readable on the large monitor and possibly more orderly and modern.
When I have completed the final release, i will publish it with 4-5 different color variations.

Even if it's been a few years since my last template, i remember the problematic structure of manager-template.
Currently the only file that is overwritten with an upgrade is login.html, but not the content that is in the \manager\media\style\custommanagerthemefolder

I'm planning a new menu, because i'm bored with the old menu of Evo

I added the ability to use custom templates for the login and the manager.lockout page; I think I got the pull request done properly. This means you don't need to edit anything in the assets/templates/manager folder; these files can be in the manager/media/style/<your-theme> folder. And they won't be overwitten by an upgrade!

So I can move to the manager/media/style/<your-theme> ? Thank you Susan!
I will update them in the next (1.1) release.

Please try the current release (only the manager folder ) there's a lot of improvements from the first RC.
