A previously working modx site has suddenly stopped working with error:
Fatal error: Call to a member function getSource() on a non-object in /home/stev3040/public_html/freemanclarke.co.uk/core/cache/includes/elements/modsnippet/2.include.cache.php on line 122
No obvious changes have been made to the source files, so we're at a bit of a loss.
The client is going beserk and any help is greatly appreciated.

This is resolved. It was a database issue.

What version of MODX is the site on?
As a short-term solution: try emptying the cache and/or clear the cache manually by deleting everything in /core/cache/
