having problems re-uploading my modx site

I’m having real problems re-uploading my modx site. I took it off the server and then ran the install wizard after I re-uploaded it and when I try to access the manager I get a file directory. When I try to access the site that was created I get a blank screen. Please help!

Well, to get a file directory when navigating to the manager tells me that it’s not seeing the index.php - have all the files been reuploaded correctly? And, check that your permissions are set correctly on the files as well, they might have been set incorrectly when reuploading.

I’m not sure why you ran the install wizard - if all you did was download then reupload without any changes in between then you shouldn’t need to run it as no configuration information would have changed. Maybe I just a bit of clarification regarding that.
