Thanks Bruno, i'll have a play.

If you have any questions, let me know

Hi Bruno,

So i understand its usage (i havent dropped it into MIGX yet) but i was following:

https://github.com/Bruno17/DynamicDropdownTV#example-4-gallery-album-processor-usage

However my first TV isnt generating the list of Galleries, am i missing something?

ive got this:

Gallery Select TV

Input Type: Dynamic DD
Parent: None
Drop Down Group: gallery_albums

Image Select TV

Input Type: Dynamic DD
Parent: Gallery Select Tv
Drop Down Group: gallery_albums

I was considering adding: @EVAL return $modx->runSnippet('GalleryThumbs'); to the image Select TV but i wasnt sure if it needed it?

Thanks

the name of that TV is albums0 ?

Then it should use this processor to get the options:

https://github.com/Bruno17/DynamicDropdownTV/blob/master/core/components/dynamicdropdowntv/processors/mgr/gallery_albums/getoptions.albums0.php

the getoptions-processor-path pattern is:

https://github.com/Bruno17/DynamicDropdownTV/blob/master/core/components/dynamicdropdowntv/processors/mgr/{{dropdowngroup}}/getoptions.{{tv-name}}.php

Ah... I think this is wrong in the Docu.

The tv-names should be albums0 and albums1, not album0 and album1

Yeah i left the names out sorry.

so albums0 is listing the titles of the albums, albums1 is listing nothing when a albums0 has a value.

Also do you think we could output the results in albums1 as thumbnails as per above?

you have no parent/child (nested) albums, right?
the second listbox would show child-albums of the selected one at the first one.

And yes, it should be possible to show the images on the second one, of the album, which was selected on the first one.

If it's that what you want, I will show you how you get it done.

Hiya,

No there are no nested albums, and the individual images would indeed be helpful (due to Gallery just changing the names to 1,2,3, etc)
