Can't figure this one out for the life of me. A little while back I upgraded my site that was on Revo 2.0.7 to Revo 2.2.6 after moving to a new server (actually same box, new OS). Now my old "blog" homepage generates a 500 error if you try to view it without a tags call (this did not used to happen). This blog was set up a while back (on 2.0.7 back when that was new c.a. early 2011) using much of the info here:
http://rtfm.modx.com/display/revolution20/Creating+a+Blog+in+MODx+Revolution. I am not using Quip or Archiving, but that's not the problem here anyway.
This much I am sure: the problem lies in the getResourcesTag call for whatever reason (I've removed all other calls on the page and it still returns the 500 error, removing this call and adding everything else back results in a clean page return). The content of the entire page is the following:
[[!getResourcesTag?
&elementClass=`modSnippet`
&element=`getResources`
&tpl=`blogPost`
&parents=`5`
&limit=`10`
&includeContent=`1`
&includeTVs=`1`
&showHidden=`0`
&hideContainers=`1`
&cache=`0`
&pageVarKey=`page`
]]
[[!+page.nav:notempty=`
<div class="paging">
<ul class="pageList">
[[!+page.nav]]
</ul>
</div>
`]]
Resource 5 is the page that is calling this script, and all blog posts are children of it.
Now, on the site's home page, I have a "latest posts" section with a standard getReources call that works fine:
[[!getResources?
&parents=`5`
&hideContainers=`1`
&tpl=`latestPostsTpl`
&limit=`5`
&sortby=`publishedon`
]]
Like I said, if I call the page www.site.com/blog/?tag=TAG&key=tags, everything is fine, the proper blog posts are listed that have that tag. Only a blank call to the page fails (www.site.com/blog/). And this all used to work fine, I have not changed anything in the code during the migration. Am I missing something?
