Try clearing your browser cache and cookies for the domain.

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly! I:

• cleared browser's cache, cookies and browser history.
• I deleted files inside cache folder via ftp.
• I hit refresh on login page.

AAAARRRRRRRGGGGGGGGHHHHH!!!

All those "cannot send..." errors are from PHP and MODx both trying to report the error and stepping on each other.

I just tried an upgrade on my localhost, and it worked fine. The only thing I can suggest is that you restore your backup (you did backup before the upgrade, didn't you?), then try the upgrade again. If you can, upload the new zip and unzip it on the server, and move the files into place on the server. Uploading the unzipped installation can cause all kinds of problems with corrupted uploaded files.

You might also want to check your database to make sure none of the tables got corrupted.
