Can No longer access manager

I setup ModX Revo 2.2.6 about a month ago. Up until today I had no issues, logged into the manager every couple days to add pages, everything worked excellent. Hosting on a Linux server, running my SQL 5.0.

Fatal error: Call to a member function get() on a non-object in /home/content/09/10228509/html/bimmerwissen/m/core/model/modx/modmanagerresponse.class.php on line 41

Line 41 of modmanagerresponse.class.php: $action = $action->get('id');

Not sure what to do now, I'm not familiar enough with the frame work of modx to troubleshoot much further. Any help would be awesome.

The first thing to try is deleting all the files in the core/cache directory.

Excellent BobRay that seems to have set things right. Any idea what causes this error? Any preventative measures that can be taken?

Sometimes the cache just gets corrupted. AFAIK, no one knows why at this point.
